Follow upAnything we’ve had to follow up on will be back with you within 2 business days, to keep things moving.
Moving forwardIf we’re a great match for your project, we’ll move forward. But if it’s not the right time, or we’re not the right team for you, we’ll leave it here.
Design preparationThe excitement is building. If you don’t have plans, we’ll confirm your preference for an architect or designer (and we’ve got some great contacts, if you don’t have someone in mind). This is the time for you to meet with them, to make sure they’re right for your project.
Preliminary agreementIf everyone’s feeling good at this point, we’ll organise a meeting to sign the preliminary agreement documents and make it official. This is also your first payment point. After a briefing, we’ll sit down with you and the designer to align on values, budget and your design scope.
Budget expectationsThis is where we get some ballpark figures. We’ll review the meeting outcomes against your budget expectations. If we have concerns, we’ll flag them. If everything looks good, the designer will proceed to concept development.
Design review meetingCollaboration is a key part of our process. We’ll meet with you and the designer to review the design concept and provide feedback on budget considerations and buildability.
First cost estimateWith the initial design confirmed, we’ll provide an initial costing based on our experience on similar projects, specification allowances and soil test results.
Second cost estimateIf all looks good, we’ll proceed with preliminary engineering and refine the costing with continued allowance.
SelectionsThis is where things start to feel very real – you’ll select all fixtures, fittings and materials. You might choose to do this yourself, or through your designer.
Final costingBased on your final selections and subcontractor quotes, we’ll prepare a third round of detailed costings.
Final proposalThe moment of truth – we’ll present the complete proposal, including detailed specifications, your schedule of works and proposed start date.
Contract signingIf you’re ready to go, we’ll put pen to paper and sign the contract and organise payment of your deposit. We’re in this together, so we’ll set a weekly meeting schedule to keep communication flowing.
